☄ First Impressions 🐾 VISUAL: At 4'10" and 93 lbs, Arietta is such a loli it's not even funny. She's short, underweight, and small-framed, and we have growing up in the woods to blame for that. She has very long (waist-length) pink hair. Pinkish eyes to match. She likes to keep her nails sharp. Though they aren't big and her clothes cover most of her visible skin, Arietta has a few scars across her body, mostly from old fights, though there is one that resembles a bite mark on her right hand. That is incredibly old, at least a decade. She may appear a little banged up, at first appearance. 🐾 FASHION: Arietta wears nicer (and...more...) clothes than you'd expect of someone raised in the wild, as seen above. More detail here, basically she has the air of a fancy Gothic church official, though in pastel instead of black. Little detail easily missed: she has a necklace in the shape of a tuning fork. 🐾 DEMEANOUR: At first appearance, she is a shy, timid, and overall socially awkward girl. When uncomfortable, she will often try to look away or hide her face, which is not made easy with the absence of her strange doll. However, she carries herself with some confidence and strength, like- she has a duty to carry out. That kind of feeling. Nervous energy, but with purpose. Though she is timid, there's always emotion in Arietta's voice. She's not one to hold herself back. Imagine a kind of shakiness, something like nervousness bordering on recklessness? Yeah, that's the tone in Arietta's voice. 🐾 AURAL: In English, Arietta is voiced by Kate Higgins, and in Japanese she is voiced by Satsuki Yukino. Here are samples for her English and Japanese voices, though I personally lean towards her English voice as that's how I originally experienced the canon! Either way, she has a higher register voice and tends to speak forcefully but nervously. For Japanese characters, though Arietta won't herself be speaking Japanese, she will use her name as a pronoun. Honestly it sounds very childish. 🐾 OLFACTORY: You can take the girl out of the woods but you can't take the woods out of the girl. Though she's lived in human society, she still likes to spend time out in the wild, so consequently she smells more...earthy than she usually might. Also probably will go a few days without washing? 🐾 MENTAL INFORMATION: Not applicable to this game! 🐾 MAGICAL INFORMATION: She doesn't have access to her artes here, so that's not applicable! ☄ OOC 🐾 BACKTAGGING: I am super backtag friendly! I alternate in murdergames between boomerang and...super-not boomerang, but basically unless I am epically bogged down, I'll backtag forever, weeks out. 🐾 FOURTHWALLING: No for her, please! 🐾 PHYSICAL AFFECTION: Arietta will be confused, probably, but she's not against it if the situation and person is right? She doesn't connect with a lot of people, but if you get close- well, she's fine with hugs or headpats, and you should expect nuzzles. Might take a bit to get there, but... 🐾 PHYSICAL VIOLENCE: YOU CAN FIGHT ME IF YOU WANT Arietta, when faced with battle where she can't use her fonic artes, will just...resort to animal fighting. Lunging, biting, etc. Run it by me, but if a fight organically happens, go for it. 🐾 RELATIONSHIPS: I'm not sure anything would happen since Arietta is super in love with Ion, but hey, who knows? I am open to it, basically. 🐾 OFFENSIVE SUBJECTS: Not to her, but to me.
